7 Cystic Acne Home Remedies that Really Work

7 Cystic Acne Home Remedies that Really Work One of the worst kinds of acne is cystic acne. This type of acne feels like soft, fluid-
filled lumps under the skin’s covering. These big, red lumps can be painful and can
cause harm to the skin, and will probably leave scars. They usually come on your face, chest, back,
upper arms, or shoulders. Taking proper care of your skin and a healthy
lifestyle are very  important for treating cystic acne. There are also some simple home cures that
can help treat  it by bringing down swelling and fighting infection. 1. Turmeric To get rid of cystic acne, you can use turmeric. This spice has curcumin, which naturally brings
down swelling and eases pain. Also, it kills bad germs and fights the infection. Add a little water or unrefined sesame oil
to 1 to 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder to make a paste. Put this paste on the hurt area and leave
it on for about 1 hour before washing it off. Do this one or two times a day for a few days. 2. Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is another great cure
for cystic acne. Because it’s an astringent, it helps get
rid of extra oil to cure acne and ease pain and swelling. It also helps clean the skin and balance the
skin’s acid level. Mix equal amounts of raw, unfiltered apple
cider vinegar and water. Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and put it
on the hurt skin. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then wash
it off with water. Do this two times a day for a few days. 3. Tea Tree Oil Tea tree oil goes into the skin easily to
help unblock  the sebaceous glands, clean pores, and dry out the acne. Put 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton
ball and pat it gently onto the hurt area. Leave it on for a few hours or overnight. People with sensitive skin should mix 1 part
tea tree oil with 3 parts water before putting it on. Use this once a day for a week. Note: Some people are allergic to tea tree
oil, so test it on a little bit of skin before using it. 4. Baking Soda Another great cure for cystic acne is baking
soda. This is because it kills germs and brings
down swelling. Baking soda can pull extra oil out of blocked
pores and clean away dead skin cells. It also evens out the acid level of your skin,
leaving it healthy and glowing. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with enough
cucumber juice to make a thin paste. If you do not have cucumber juice, you can
use plain water. Put it on the hurt area. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and then
wash it off with warm water. Do this one or two times a week. Note: Make sure to moisturize your skin after
using baking soda. 5. Fuller’s Earth Fuller’s earth is a type of clay that is
good for curing cystic acne. It helps get rid of extra oil and dead skin
cells, leaving clean and smooth skin. It even lowers the chance of scars forming. Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of fuller’s earth
with enough water to make a paste. 7 Cystic Acne Home Remedies that Really Work One of the worst kinds of acne is cystic acne.

is a popular Ayurvedic cure for cystic acne. It kills germs and bacteria to help fight
the cause of the problem. It also eases signs like pain and swelling. Taking neem into the
body even helps wash out poisons and cleans your blood. Put the paste of neem leaves on the hurt area
of the skin. Let it dry on its own before washing it off with warm water.
Do this two times a day for a few days. 7. Dietary Changes By making some changes to your diet you can
stop any type of acne, including cystic acne. Here are some things you should change. Follow a low-glycemic diet with whole grains,
beans, fresh fruits, and green vegetables. Eat nuts and seeds that are full of vitamins
A and E. Drink a lot of water throughout the day to
flush harmful poisons out of your body. Eat little or no dairy, like milk and cheese,
until the acne is gone. Don’t eat oily, fatty foods and spicy foods
that can make the acne worse. Don’t eat junk foods and foods full of sugar.

  1. hey you! first of all you're beautiful.
Do you love yourself? You want improvement on your skin? Get some sleep. A lottt of sleep. Before you sleep, use some 3 parts turmeric to 1 part water. Turmeric should be a lot so all of it doesn't dissolve much and leave some particles that acts as a scrub. Leave this on EVERY night for 10 minutes and scrub it off in circular motion to get rid of dead skin cells. Then wash your face and moisturize with coconut oil or grape seed oil. I use coconut oil. Drink lots and lots of water!
Eat foods with a lot of HEALTHY fats, stop eating junk food. STOP.
I'm telling you this because I've had acne for 5 years, and I thought it might just disappear if I leave it alone. No, that wasn't the case, in fact, it became worse. I didn't take care of my skin, I always slept so late. Now I sleep at 9:00 pm and wake up at 8:00 to get full 11 hours of sleep. I limit myself on stuff and I am very determined and motivated for change. That's why now, I have clear skin. I know how it feels to have severe acne, so I just wanted to share some tips. I hope it helps. Just try it guys. I'm not telling you to exercise or stop eating meat. I just want you to do the simple things above. I want to help my fellow youtubers and other people out there 😇😇

  2. None of these things will "cure" your acne. ACV absolutely helps balance the skins ph but it doesn't get rid of the hard cystic pimples unfortunately. I've done vegan diets, every topical thing out there from natural to synthetic, nothing worked to cure it. Whoever makes these videos clearly knows nothing about the cause and effect of things. The best thing that I have found (that works for me) is Apple Cider Vinegar. I can even wear makeup now without my face becoming excessively oily. I LOOOOOVE it and it DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT HURT YOU! ✌💖💙

  3. I can swear on this combination for any kind of acne..neem powder+ turmeric +lemon jiuce+rose water…
Please dnt ever apply acv or baking soda on face….

  4. Additional: ice- bcos it reduces oil and minimize open pores.
i put ice all over my face before sleep and im happy with the result

  5. The diet and healthy lifestyle is bs. I've been incredibly healthy and careful for a good while now. It's only gotten worse since I started.

  6. I used toothpaste and let it dry and it burned a little bit then put a oil Reducing cream and it got rid of my cystic acne from a couple minutes it drew the moisture from the lump in my skin to nothing and I felt so great

  7. Spoiler: tea tree oil never works. Have tried it for a month. No result at all. Yes. I just wasted some money. Goodbye.

  8. Thank you for the video. I have a comment for all the negative comments on here. I think sharing personal stories about negative experiences is important. However, telling people not to use ACV or baking soda because they are “dangerous when used topically” should ALWAYS just be about your personal experience. If you are not a MD, it’s just wrong and dangerous to give medical advice or call something “dangerous for everyone”.
Be smart about DIY videos and don’t think that if it happened to you it will happen to everyone. Ask your Dr before trying anything new to treat a medical condition. Your skin is the largest organ of your body, if it is dry or oily is a medical concern. Ask your Dr before putting anything on your skin or in your body. Look up medical research and bring the findings to your next appointment. If you can’t afford a Dr, then test your forearm then, if you have no negative reaction, THEN test small area on your face BEFORE applying it to your entire face.
I struggle with complex health issues and developed Rosacea as a result of my health problems. I started getting Seborrhea Dermatitis in my early 20’s and Rosacea in my late 20’s. After I discussed it with my Dr, I ended up using baking soda for years as a mask mixed with hydrogen peroxide for my severe Rosacea. It worked amazingly well and brought my inflamed, burning, sensitive skin the relief I needed. *You should talk to your Dr before trying DIY remedies, always! *
I made dietary changes such as, reducing my sugar and hot coffee intake and my Rosacea has gotten significantly better. However, my skin is still sensitive and very prone to inflammation. Now, I use baking soda as a gentle exfoliator. It has only helped my skin.
    * EVERY skin care product should be tested on your inner forearm before you use it on your face. Start with a test area on your inner forearm then try a small area on your face. By keeping it small you can see if your skin has a reaction while minimizing the damage.
I use ACV by drinking 2teaspoons with 8ounces of water and mixing it with organic, raw honey every, let it sit in the fridge overnight and I drink it every morning with my vitamins and supplements. I try to drink 2tsp with 6-8ounces of water without the honey midday and at nighttime, too. Topically, I use ACV mixed with hydrogen peroxide on my face 1-2x/week at bedtime to help eliminate bacteria and to balance the ph level of my skin. Because my skin is so sensitive, I am grateful to find products that work without causing my face to turn red or cause my Rosacea to break out. I think, like most everything, it depends on your body chemistry.
SO: be smart, be safe… ask your Dr, test a small patch on your inner forearm before trying out a small patch on your face. Then, if you experience a negative result, the pain and damage will be minimized.
Please, be a little more respectful about how you express negativity. If you want people to listen, share your story and urge people to use something with caution.
As for the person who said it removed a top layer of derma, yes, it can be used as an exfoliator which is why I use it for that purpose. Some people may find these two products, ACV and BP, too harsh but, clearly, by the thousands of videos on YT, it works really well many many people. Be smart, be respectful and be kind🌻

  9. Cut out milk and dairy. Use Duac topical gel which is an antibiotic and benzyol peroxide cream. An anti inflammatory diet high in omega 3s.

  10. I'm a teenager I know acne is normal but my mom has HORRIBLE cystic acne and it feels like in starting to get some. Anyone have any advice for me?

  11. Hm. I don't believe applying Topical Turmeric on your skin is helpful .. it may actually ruin your acne, and topical skin barrier — will lighten your face + this can negatively react onto the skin (plus many people don't wear proper forms or safe sunscreen on their face) –> Overall, this could negatively lead down to acne marks/scars! Especially on dry, sensitive skin types.

Turmeric is wonderful, but take it Internally as medicine. 1/2 tablespoon of it & water, drink it down. Don't apply it on your lovely faces!

Though, it varies upon each person's skin types, experiences, and overall what they are or are not willing to do — am simply informing from my behalf of researches, viewpoints, and in general, helping caution. <3 I have sensitive, dry skin myself & as much as I love turmeric as healing medicine Inside my body, I may not consider applying it on the skin – with my fairly 'great' experience with post inflammatory erythema / inflamed acne / post healed acne marks.

  12. What is acv guys?My acne is really troublesome. I have seen my dermatologist and it seems I have tried all the products out there☹ nothing seems to be working

  13. I read all the comments n I have tea tree oil n apple cider vinegar I heard almost all the other options are no good so does anyone know which one works better at least in their experience anyway ? I can’t deal with my cystic acne anymore it’s gettin outta control

  14. Taking ACV internally is way better for you than applying it externally. It won't harm a thing, and it will definitely do good things for your body. Just make sure you dilute it with 3 parts water, 1 part ACV or you can strip th enamel from your teeth. You can also take it by making salad dressing with it or putting it into things you cook. It's GREAT in chili! I had stage 4B endometrial cancer 5 1/2 years ago and I took ACV religiously all during chemo and I never got sick. In fact I did double chemo and I went to college and swam 1/4 mile 3x a week the whole time. Ditto for turmeric. Take it internally. Let it de-inflame you from the inside out. Fresh ground turmeric, when combined with fresh ground black pepper, is also known to shrink brain tumors. Of course this isn't confirmed by the AMA, because you know, they wouldn't make nearly as much money if they told people about that. PS I also have cystic acne, and I get MRSA infections from time to time, and have ever since chemo if I'm not careful about what I eat and how much rest I get. I'm also diabetic and that affects it, too.

  15. Niacinamide and zinc, Salicylic Acid, Gyacolic aci toner. Hot face cleaner and muslin cloth for cleaning face. Change pillow cases often. Drink plently of water. Don't have too much oily food, food high in sugar/ salt content. Have plenty of green. Have freshly squeezed pomegranate juice/ just have Pomegranite. All this is my from my knowledge of 16 years of treating acne on my self. Don't use lemon on face/ B soda/ and ACV. It can burn some peoples skin. Used natural clay masks at least 1/ 2 times a week.

  21. I m getting due to water, after taking bath, I had a lovely skin but when I shifted due to water I m get on my forehead

  22. I’ve been battling acne for years and years. The only thing that has magically made a huge difference is NEEM. Not applying it. Keeping it in water overnight and drinking it the next morning every day. It tastes horrible but its so worth it. I don’t have to use any expensive useless products. I haven’t had breakouts since 3 months & I’m so happy with how it has made all the bumps, redness and even scars go away. Trust me its the most inexpensive and the only thing that works like magic. My skin has become so bright and glowy and I literally do nothing but drink the water..yes it will be difficult but you’ll get used to the taste trust me the result will be totally worth it! I’ve been doing this for 2 months and I’m so so happy I discovered this!!!! Thanks Dad lol

  23. Doxycycline works for me. Since mine is hormonal, cutting milk and soy from my diet also work. If you can bear not eating ice cream for a month to test if it works for you 😋 T.T i miss ice cream
