Best Home Remedies to Cure Toenail Fungus

Best Home Remedies to Cure Toenail Fungus

I often get asked questions from people with
different types of yeast infections on how they can cure these conditions at home, how
they can get rid of it without incurring consultation fees or doctor’s visits or things like that.
I’ve got a question here from a lady in Japan regarding toenail fungus. Toenail fungus is
quite common with Asian people just like it is with people in America and Europe and here
in Australia and New Zealand. It’s a very common condition that affects a lot of people.
And this lady, I got a long email from her. It sounds like she works in an office and
she’s got stockings on and things like that, so she has feet that are contained in an environment
all the time that is conducive toward yeast infection.
I made a couple of notes here on some of the best home remedies which I think are really,
really good to use for yeast infections. This will give her some very good advice.
Apple cider vinegar is a very good home remedy to use is to bathe your foot each evening
for about 20 minutes. You just use about a half a cup, a third to a half a cup of apple
cider vinegar in a small amount of water, just enough to put your foot in. Japanese
people got small feet, so this will mean maybe a small container. Tepid water, apple cider
vinegar, soak the foot for 20 minutes, and then dry it carefully.
Olive leaf extract. You can get different concentrations of olive leaf extract. This
is going to help quite well, too. Olive leaf has some very interesting compounds about
it that are very antimicrobial. I’ve got some patients, in fact, here in New Zealand I know
that actually get olive leaves and boil and simmer them and then actually cool that water
down and use that for toenail fungus, so that works quite well, too.
Tea tree oil is probably one of the best essential oils you can use. The two best essential oils,
I think, for toenail fungus would be oregano oil and tea tree oil. Oregano oil is much
stronger, and you often will mix this in with a little bit of carrier oil like jojoba oil
or almond oil or sunflower oil. Just put a couple of drops of oregano oil in a teaspoon
and message it into the toe and the nail area. Tea tree oil you can apply neat. I find it
works best one drop on each nail. The hardest part is getting it under the toenail, so you
really need to trim those nails right back and sand them until you can get the oil underneath
the nail. If you can do that and do that every day, you’ll go a long way to achieving this
cure for this condition. Baking soda is another very good thing you
can use because it has an interesting alkalizing effect. Baking soda is also good for neutralizing
stomach acid, but it is particularly good for toenail fungus. Just by using baking soda
on its own in water, again a soak for 20 minutes, you’d probably use a good tablespoon for a
small container of water, mix it in thoroughly, and soak the foot. So one day you can do cider
vinegar. The following day you could do baking soda. And then when the foot’s dry, use the
tea tree oil or the oregano oil for stronger treatment.
Lavender oil is also nice to use because it’s got such a nice fragrance about it and it
also has good antimicrobial properties, but not quite as good as tea tree oil. And of
course, probiotics. Some people actually even bathe their feet in yogurt. I’ve heard all
sorts of things being done, but the probiotics you take internally at the same time that
you’re treating your foot externally. Be sure to watch my other videos on toenail
fungus and have a look at some of my articles on yeastinfection.org. And while we’re here,
do my online quiz. It’s the best one you’ll find. Candidacrusher.com. Check out my online
quiz to see if you’ve got mild, moderate or severe yeast infection because most people
with toenail fungus will have some degree of Candida in their digestive system, particularly
people who’ve had it chronically for many years and can’t get rid of the toenail fungus.
Or people who use Lamisil or these sorts of drugs or creams to try to cure it, but then
it comes back. You need to treat the whole person, not just the foot.
I hope that gives you some solutions there in Japan for toenail fungus. Thank you for
tuning in.

  1. I recently in the past 2 weeks developed paronychia/onychia around 3 of my fingers and it also looks like the nails of those fingers have developed fungus (something they never really had before, actually my toenails look better by comparison though they have had fungus for years). I think it may have been from excessive itching aggravating (and from skin clogging) my nails. What should I do about this nail fungus (bluish color) and paronychia and onychia? Thank you!

  2. I have an extreme candida problem and that includes toenail fungus under every one of my nails.  I have been making to many extreme changes with changing my diet, also adding kefir, organic yogurt, sauerkraut, Kombucha and supplements basically all at the same time.  To add to these drastic changes, I also did a liver detox and wow, did I ever suffer and still am, even though I stopped the detox and have slowed things down.  I have watched sooo many of your videos and have ordered your canxida remove and canxida restore.  One thing I have very helpful on my quest for killing toenail fungus is soaking my feet in boron.  Thank you for your wonderful videos, I will be following your advice.  Oh, and I took your quiz, my infection is as I suspected…severe.

  3. The problem is with the toenail itself that acts as a shield..i use now a prescription topic applied over that it penetrates the nail, to attack the fungus under..after 5 days needs to remove with alcohol the "nail polish" and start again covering..I do also tea tree oil and in between foot baths with baking soda, peroxide and even some vinegar added..living in Arizona, I wear sandals most of the time..no socks !

  4. Hi Eric i caught a yeast infection from an infected female,i have it on my penis right now,can i use the same approach that u suggest here?I currently use tea tree oil and i see the white coating dissapear day by day.I also considering to try oregano oil also..

  5. Fill up a tiny glass with colloidal silver and soak your infected toe in it for about 20 minutes. I did that and it really helped/

  6. I am so glad I found your channel….a god send…I think it is Candida in the gut. I retired a year ago and have treated myself to more white wine and cheap chocolate than allowable…my toenails were bad…but now, I am creating fear in my husband! Nooooooo!

  7. Does it have to be apple cider vinegar or will any type of vinegar work? Surely it's the acid in the vinegar that attacks the fungus. I have been told anything containing alcohol such as mouthwash also works well.

  8. What about combining the Tea Tree E.O. and the Oregano E.O. along with a carrier oil? Does it make it stronger, cancel each other out, or it wont make a difference? Thanks!

  9. Dark brown hair dye on nails. It takes a while to friends out. But when it does, the fungus goes with it. Only dark brown dye has this ingredient.

  10. Right now I am using Apple Cider Vinegat, but I also poured Baking Soda in the bucket of water as well. Should I keep mixing both or just use ACV one day and Baking Soda the next?
