Cauliflower bush/Native Rosemary/Cassinia quinquefaria

Here we have another fantastic little
herb of the bush. Now this one here goes by a lot of names some call it dog weed
some call it the cauliflower tree I call it either can ‘canna-mare’ or “tres-huele” because it has three different distinct smells depending on how rough you rub
this and this is a beautiful herb the seeds are edible as well and when they
flower it’s like a big ol’ bunch of cauliflower not in the same
technicalities but very much from a distance looks like cauliflower. The
reason I call it ‘canna-mare’ its because it has a similar smell to cannabis/
marijuana so I’ve combined those two words to call it ‘canna-mare’ but that’s
just that’s absolutely delicious herb it is it is really nice and it also goes by
the name native rosemary there’s another one there so this is a beautiful
culinary one to put with your meats flavoring those as you can see by the
color difference here this is new growth and we’re in in midwinter here in
Australia so the darker growth has a different smell and it’s beautiful
absolutely beautiful plants so that’s that’s a little bit of a bush tucker
herb culinary herb
