Functional & Alternative Medicine: How It Works!

Functional & Alternative Medicine: How It Works!

Hello I’m doctor Daniel Farkas and I’m a
certified functional medicine practitioner. I just wanted to take a
minute today to explain what functional medicine is and what it actually does.
The concept of functional medicine is pretty simple your body is either in a
state of deficiency or it’s either in the state of toxicity or both. The body’s
just gone out of balance. Functional Medicine is simple, it’s addition and
subtraction. We got to get the bad stuff out of it and get good things back into
you so your body will behave normal and behave in a balanced fashion. I’m not a
medicine doctor. I don’t claim to be a medical doctor. I’m not against medicine, it shines in the emergency room. When
people have emergency situations that’s definitely the place to go. But for the
maintenance and wellness of a human being
medications don’t bring the body back into balance. There is a time and place
for them but they typically just treat the symptoms. It’s like just treating the
tip of the iceberg that you see out on the top of the water while the whole
iceberg itself that can sink the Titanic is actually underneath.
Functional Medicine uses precision lab testing. we don’t we only say in
functional medicine our mantras we don’t guess we test we always use test and we
use science to determine instead of what drug do you need what natural substance
do you need to support your body with or what specific detoxification protocol do
you need to do to get the bad things out of you when you employ this natural
approach we get better results let side-effects and it’s actually more cost
effective people are a whole lot happier I look forward to forming a relationship
and a partnership with you not in order to just help you in the short term but
to help you reach any long-term goals that you possibly could have so that you
can regain your health and actually truly get back to health
