Homemade Herbal Ayurvedic Face Cream For Glowing Skin | Removes Acne Scars, Black Spots & Dullness

Hi friends, this is Ramya from wildturmeric. In this video, I want to share an easy ayurvedic face cream for glowing
skin. This cream is amazingly good because it treats almost all skin problems
including acne, acne scars, dark spots, pigmentation and dullness. The base for this cream is three wonderful roots. The first is vetiver, it is popularly called
Khus root in North India. The second is liquorice root also called as Mulethi in
Hindi and the third root is manjistha whose botanical name is Rubia Cordifolia.
All these three herbs have wonderful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
properties so they help treat skin problems really well. They treat
hyperpigmentation, acne and black spots very effectively. All these three herbs
have powerful anti-aging properties so they help prevent premature aging of our
skin. All these three herbs are also amazing skin healers so they help heal
damaged skin very fast. To make this cream, first we have to make a herbal oil. I usually make a large batch of herbal oil during hot summers and then
make small batches of the cream using the oil whenever needed. We can easily
buy all these herbs in ayurvedic shops. I will also leave the online links for
buying all the ingredients used in this recipe in the description box below. First take five grams each of manjiistha and licorice root in a motor and pestle and pound to break them into smaller
pieces. Now take a small bunch of vetiver
in a cup. Add in the pounded herbs to it. Finally add in 1/4 cup of unrefined sesame oil too. Now heat this mixture under hot sun for a
day or two till the oil is infused with the herbs. Once the oil is infused with the herbs,
strain through a strainer to get a smooth oil, make sure to press well to extract the oil completely. Here I have used sesame oil but you can use any unrefined oil of your choice depending on your skin type. Now store
this oil in a glass bottle. This oil will last well for few months at room
temperature. I usually prefer to make herbal infusions like this during hot
summers but if you live in a place where you don’t get plenty of sunlight or
don’t have a place to directly sun dry your ingredients then you can heat the
oil slowly for about 15 to 20 minutes in low flame and then strain. I have
used whole herbs for making the oil but you can use the powders too. To use the
powders, mix the powders in oil and then sundry. Once the oil gets hot, strain
through a muslin cloth and then use. The colour of the oil will vary depending on
the method used. To make the cream, take a tablespoon of
aloe vera gel that is free of colour and perfume in a bowl. Now add in a teaspoon of the prepared
oil to it. Now mix well. At first the mixture will be
very lumpy but as you keep mixing, it’ll form a smooth cream. Now store this cream in a bottle and use daily. This cream will last well at room temperature for
about two weeks or more. You can use this cream for fading dark spots and acne
scars, reducing inflammation, evening out the skin tone and also for brightening
dull skin. I hope you found this video useful. If you like to support me and this channel, please share this video with
