Instant Relief from Nasal Congestion – Home Remedies

It is common to experience nasal congestion or stuffy nose during cold weather or rainy season. Nasal congestion is usually an offshoot of Cold, Flu, Allergy or exposure to environmental irritants, Sinus infection and Overuse of nasal sprays. Food triggers, poor nutrition, poor digestive health, and lack of sleep tend to worsen the problem. To unblock the stuffy nose, try these home remedies that now I am going to show you. Take a cup of water in a pan. Put 2-3 garlic cloves in it. And boil the solution. You may also add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder in it. And drink this solution daily until the congestion clears. The next home remedy that you can try. Take a glass of warm water. Add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it thoroughly. And drink this solution for about 2-3 times a day. For this another remedy to get rid of congestion Take some boiling water in a pan. Add 1 tablespoon crushed carom seeds (ajwain). Inhale the steam from this solution a few times a day. Some tips to help you with nasal congestion. Take some black pepper in your palm. And mix 3 drops of sesame oil in it. Dip your finger in the mixture and apply it under your nose. Breathe in the strong aroma to loosen the mucus and clear your sinuses. This mixture might make you sneeze, so do not suppress it. You may also go for a nasal irrigation with warm saline water. And drink plenty of fluids for thinning the mucus.

  3. All of these suggestions saying "breathe in the vapors" Does anyone else have their nose so completely clogged that they cannot breath at all? Not not even 1% air flow. I can barely eat as i have to gasp for air through my mouth while i'm eating, and choking on sips of water and i woke up with my mouth so dry my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth from mouth breathing all night..I had to spray water in my mouth to move my dried up tongue. This has been going on for nearly 4 days straight now.. Have not at any point been able to breathe through my nose at all, and my lymph nodes are so swollen it feels like my throat is just a straw.

I have used saline flush, decongestants, vix vape rub, steam, eucalyptus, and camphor essential oils lemon juice , honey, garlic cloves , ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, hot spicy foods: jalapenos, chili peppers, and habaneros (which make my nose run but don't lessen the stuffed up swelling) pineapple juice, cayenne, fennel seed, anise licorice, every kind of tea, vitamin C, neo citran hot lemons, benylin, every type of decongestant, expectorant, antihistamine, i have never in my life been this sick with a cold.. So i have tried both the expensive pharmaceuticals, and the naturopathic remedies. Neither of them are doing a thing and with my nose completely clogged, and my throat dry with such a painful cough it's like i can't breathe from either one.

Almost considered a walk in or hospital but there's no point in leaving my quarantine and making other people sick. Is there anything a doctor could prescribe that can't be bought over the counter at a pharmacy? i don't want to make anyone else sick but this is brutal..
