The calyxes of this plant contain fiber, protein, carbohydrate, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin C, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, nickel and phosphorus.

The ingredients must boil for 20 minutes.
Then strain the liquid.
When the liquid is warm or cold its add your preferred sweetener and orange juice.
From this tea should drink three cups a day.
Should drink up to 3 cups per day, on an empty stomach, with half an hour before the meal.
This tea should be avoiding as a treatment by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and people with low blood pressure.

  4. This is called sougri in manipur. It is used as sweet dish. Leaves are used as vegetables. We have two varieties

  5. We eat leaves as curry, boiled with fermented n smoked fish in Manipur (India)…..call it Silot-sougri..

  6. Boil the leaves and drink for piles and constipation or as a veggies…or you can cook with pork or dog meat,the taste is priceless
