Natural Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Sleep Apnea. Chew 2-3 garlic cloves on an empty stomach followed by a glass of water. Do this every day. Add some gooseberry pieces into water and boil it for few minutes and then strain it. Have this liquid every night. Mix 1tsp each of honey and black pepper powder in a glass of warm water. Have this liquid before going to bed. Add 1tsp of turmeric powder to a cup of milk. Boil it for few minutes. Drink it daily 30 minutes before going to sleep Mix 1tbsp of ginger paste and a medium-size cinnamon stick to 1 cup of hot water. Boil it for a few minutes and strain it. Drink this liquid before going to bed. Eat a handful of dry roasted or soaked almonds. Eat some basil leaves every day. Mix 3tsp cinnamon powder and add 1tsp water and make a paste. By telling people with severe sleep apnea, like myself, that all you have to do is chew a couple of garlic cloves before going to bed, can kill. You're pretty much saying cpap, apap, and bipap aren't necessary. I'm not overweight but I am a back sleeper only. Are you trying to convince someone such as myself that garlic, honey, etc is going to keep away hypopneas? If so, it's a crock of crap and you're really not doing anyone any favors.
