  1. I Remember When A Friend Called And Told Me To Turn On The TV To Watch. We Thought Magic Would Be Dead In About Six Months….

  2. RIP LARRY BIRDS FATHERπŸ™πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’”πŸ™

  3. Peter Jennings got it wrong about Magic Johnson having AIDS. AIDS kills a person less than 5 years after getting it.

  4. He was so brave to do that at that time.He could have lied, he could have faked anything, give another excuse to leave the game. But he was brave.

We all were VERY ignorant about HIV, AIDS, most people with it were considered almost like zumbies…..

I felt in love with this guy in 1985 and became a Laker fan (fist time I saw him, I am a brazilian guy, NBA could not "reach" us before that), and never stooped loving him until today.Great guy.

  5. what a disgusting sellout. sold out the black race, and in fact, the entire world….nothing and no one lower than those who hired him..we are thankful that sugar ray leonard turned them down. fuk you un-magic ugly johnson.

  6. 4:11 Pat Riley: "Pls. Take a moment of silence."

Me: Bruh? He ain't dead. Just pray. He's alive. Not in a fricking coffin yet. Man, I think they wanted Magic dead.

  7. Even if they were rivals on the court, Magic and Larry Bird became friends off the court. When Magic made the Hall of Fame, he asked Bird to introduce him. And Bird said one of the most amazing things I've ever heard:

"I was going to speak from my heart. But, man, he broke my heart so many times, do I have anything left?"

  8. That's true dont ever think you can't get it, it's for real in 2018 I had the biggest scare in my life ,I thought I had it and my wife was 3 months pregnant and she had the hiv test done ,and thank God she was negative and and I was also , but I had all the symptoms, the only being I can say thank you is God 100 percent thanks for everything!!!!

  9. I'm so proud of Magic Johnson for leading the way to destigmatize people who are living with HIV ….if there is a purpose for him in this world and he has recognize it …..living with HIV is no longer a death sentence anyone with HIV can live a long and healthy life as long as they take their medication…. today's medication is so advanced that you wouldn't even know the individual has HIV ….Magic Johnson help humanize those who felt Ashamed. Thank You Mr Johnson πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

  10. He should be a spokesperson for not cheating on his wife and he should have never end up with what he got so be a real spokesperson for that not to cheat on your wife and then you won't get diseases like HIV or Aids

  11. I was 16 or 17 years old in Ansbach Germany where we were stationed at when i heard the news. My dad was screaming oh my God magic has aids an i was like no he has the virus that causes aids

  12. I don't feel sorry for him he had unprotected sex with women and he gave that shit to his wife and kids. His wife is with him cause of the money

  13. He was straight professional!!! I would have hid in the woods and became BigfootπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

  14. 650 million earned from business since this moment, people got opinions, but nobody knows the future, only God does!!!!

  15. I have always felt that if Magic Johnson did not contract the horrible virus ….. Hakeem The Dream would have come to the Lakers knowing Jerry West he would have pulled that off.

  16. My brother and I had just come from school when we turned on the TV and saw him on that podium….one of the defining moments of my childhood.

  17. This was the darkest day in NBA History. Next time something this dark happened in NBA History was Kobe Bryant death. Both dark days. At least Magic's turned into a triumph story. Unfortunately, Kobe passed on.

  18. The shock was similar to Kobe's death but obviously Magic lived but back then ppl thought AIDS was like having late stage cancer.

  19. I remember when his news came out. I was 11 years old, and after seeing the news conference, I went to school the next day and told my friends (we all collected basketball cards) that any future cards the basketball card companies put out we’re going to have his name changed from β€œMagic Johnson” to β€œSick Dick”.
